Full WISEflow rollout at Aarhus University from Autumn 2023

UNIwise is happy to announce that Aarhus University (AU) will be doing a full rollout of WISEflow from Autumn 2023. Currently, WISEflow is being used at Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences and Faculty of Health but as of late next year, it will be used at all five faculties.

Securing a full rollout of WISEflow at AU has particular significance to UNIwise. Steffen Skovfoged and Rasmus Blok, our Executive Directors and Co-founders, both previously worked in managing positions at AU until August 2012. AU was UNIwise’s point of origin following a cross-university project funded by the Danish Government Foundation for Welfare Technology, when WISEflow launched a decade ago.

AU previously used two different platforms for digital examinations, and Deputy Director for AU Student Administration and Services Anna Bak Maigaard believes that there will be benefits in moving towards a single system: ‘It makes good sense to have a common approach and a common system to support our exams. It helps to simplify and strengthen the administrative processes across AU and creates more cohesion in the digital landscape.’

Vice-Dean of Technical Sciences at AU, Finn Borchsenius, was happy to learn that WISEflow will be used across all levels of the university: ‘It was WISEflow that best matched our requirements on price, quality and functionality overall. Among our most important criteria were that the system could support as many of AU’s different exam methods as possible.’

We look forward to our continued partnership with Aarhus University.

AU’s own announcement, which includes more information on the full rollout of WISEflow at the university, can be found here.
